AkuPan® made-in-Italy sound-absorbing acoustic panels have the highest real-world performance internationally and are the simplest, most elegant and effective way to acoustically treat any room.
Sound absorbing ceiling or wall panels are used to reduce noise or excessive sound energy caused by speech or music in rooms. In restaurants, open-plan offices as well as classrooms, conference rooms or music halls very often the rooms excessively amplify the sounds produced inside and this does not allow the proper understanding of dialogues and music, concentration, productivity that are instead achieved with the right acoustic correction.

If they are performing at the appropriate frequencies and properly calculated for the rooms to be acoustically corrected, acoustic correctors bring considerable well-being, acoustic comfort and sound quality.

Their function of sound absorption should not be confused with sound insulation (soundproofing) but they can still also provide partial attenuation for the neighborhood when construction works cannot be done. The tailor-made products in our catalog, manufactured directly in Italy, can be easily placed on both walls and ceilings and are also available in floor-standing or desk versions with support bases.

The AkuPan® and AkuPan® SCREEN series of acoustic fabric panels have been tested in the laboratories of the acoustics department of the prestigious University of Ferrara and in a second Accredia-accredited institute.
Of all the acoustic panels on the market, ours turn out to have the absolute highest performance on the effective thickness of 52mm according to the international standard UNI EN ISO 354:2003.

With our panels, it is not necessary to cover the entire ceiling in its entirety or nearly entirety. Observing the photos of our achievements, you can see that in rooms intended for office or restaurant use, we apply few ceiling islands and few wall panels (what look like paintings are actually our sound-absorbing paintings such as our best-selling AkuPan® ART).

Handcrafted in Italy with artisan care, AkuPan® acoustic panels allow for seamless integration into any room thanks to the wide range of colors and finishes available in the series AkuPan®, made of 100 percent polyester fabric, AkuPan®FIRESAFE, in Italian class 1 fire-retardant polyester fabric, also without seams or flaps in the corners and AkuPan® ART, in fire retardant fabric with printing of your favorite images, photographs or artwork (see our galleries). Reduced thickness makes AkuPan® sound-absorbing wall and ceiling panels (and products derived from them) usable in most music, home or commercial rooms to eliminate echoes, excessive reverberation, increase sound quality, speech intelligibility, privacy and overall acoustic comfort.

Ease of installation and many variations

Their installation is fast and solid, with no glue or adhesives; in fact, they fit as wall-mounted or suspended pictures as ceiling-mounted acoustic islands, and they do not occupy all surfaces but only a small part. Complementing the AkuPan® line are various optional accessories for installation, such as the acoustic panel decorations Strings or the storage shelves AkuShelf.
