Acoustic Fabrics

Acoustic fabrics can be divided into sound-absorbing (they absorb sound) or sound-transparent (they are acoustically transparent to sound).
Sound-absorbing fabrics are used to make sound-absorbing curtains and draperies to reduce reverberation and noise in theaters, homes or offices. Sound-transparent fabrics are used to make sound-absorbing panels.
On this page we offer high quality acoustic fabric complete with acoustic certifications of soundproofing UNI EN ISO 10534-2 or sound absorption UNI EN ISO 354:2003 and, for some fabrics, also fire retardancy according to Italian Class 1 standards and European standards EN 13501 – 1 1,2 : B-s1 , d0, meaning with the lowest production of smoke and dripping.
Upon request, we can also provide fabrics with English standards (for example, Cara and Lucia models come with certificates to be considered as non-fire retardant according to European and Italian standards and are comparable to our standard fabrics).
